1 Cannon Residence — Port Royal, Kingston

This project reimagines a modest single-storey dwelling in Port Royal through a careful programmatic reconfiguration rather than an expensive formal overhaul. The design preserves the existing roofline and street-facing character while introducing a more efficient internal layout that supports contemporary living. Strategic extensions to the rear allow for a private master suite, improved service spaces, and enhanced comfort without disrupting the historic urban fabric. The result is a quiet, practical transformation that respects budget, climate, and context while significantly improving everyday livability.
