Lydford House is a contemporary interpretation of the Jamaican vernacular, drawing on Georgian proportions, gable and hip roof forms, and deep verandas suited to the tropical climate. The design balances restraint and familiarity, allowing the house to sit comfortably within its residential context while accommodating the owner’s preference for locally available decorative elements over time.
